If sudden deafness is cured in one day, it is a misdiagnosis.

Sudden deafness is a severe sensorineural hearing loss with no identifiable cause. Sensorineural hearing loss is not caused by debris in the ear or a stuck eardrum, but by an abnormality in the cochlea, the auditory nerve to the brain located in the skull. Whether due to disease or blood clots, severe hearing loss is not expected to improve in a day.
