    I had the sound of the motor echoing in my head all the time. When my grandchildren came to visit, I couldn't do much for them, and I missed keeping up with family stories. At night I would feel crushed by anxiety and would hide and cry. When my daughter made an appointment for acupuncture, I honestly had negative feelings about whether I needed to go all the way to Nagano, but the doctor kindly listened to me and accepted my feelings, and I made the decision to have treatment. The acupuncture was very effective, and by the end of the seven treatments, the sound was getting quieter. I am now enjoying every day so much that I wonder how much fun it was to talk with people.

    Sudden hearing loss with low-pitched tinnitus is a relatively common type of sudden hearing loss for which acupuncture is effective. However, it is also a sudden hearing loss that is easily affected by stress, so try to avoid stress as much as possible. Low-pitched hearing loss can be helped by drinking water, so try to stay hydrated as much as possible.

    I had recurring dizziness and ringing in my ears like a cicada, and I would sometimes miss work. My boss was very concerned about me, but I pushed myself too hard because I didn't want to bother him, and when I pushed myself too hard, I got sick again, and it was a vicious cycle. My wife convinced me that this was not a good idea, so I took a leave of absence and devoted myself to treatment, and after about three months the tinnitus was almost completely gone.
